NBA expert and B-ball Lobby of Famer Charles Barkley says he thinks the association “failed” on Kyrie Irving after the Brooklyn Nets star tweeted a narrative considered to be xenophobic.
“I figure he [Irving] ought to have been suspended. I think Adam [Silver, the NBA commissioner] ought to have suspended him,” Barkley said on dynamite Tuesday in front of the Nets’ down against the Chicago Bulls, in which Irving highlighted.
“Adam, most importantly, is Jewish. You can’t take my $40 million [Irving’s accounted for salary] and affront my religion.
